Peer Review Policy

CIJ employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process for all submitted manuscripts. The identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process.

Review Process

1. Initial screening — The editorial team checks scope, formatting, and originality within 5 working days.
2. Reviewer assignment — At least two independent experts in the relevant field are invited to review.
3. Review period — Reviewers are given 21 days to submit their evaluation.
4. Editorial decision — Accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.
5. Revision review — Revised manuscripts are re-evaluated by the original reviewers where necessary.

Review Criteria

Reviewers assess originality, methodology, clarity, significance of findings, and appropriate citation of related work.

Appeals

Authors who believe a rejection was made in error may appeal in writing to the Editor-in-Chief within 30 days of the decision.
